Lindsay Korotki, RVT
Assistant Manager, Community Sheltering and Animal Transport

Lindsay grew up on a small hobby farm in Brighton, Ontario. At a very young age, family and friends would always find Lindsay in the barn tending to and caring for the animals on their farm. One of her current cats, Greysie, was a barn kitten born to a feral cat who had left her on the barn floor still in her amniotic sac. Lindsay removed her sac and cared for her for the first 24 hours until her mother returned and took her back. Over the past almost 16 years, Greysie has been with Lindsay for every move including to college at St. Lawrence College in Kingston where she completed the Veterinary Technology program and then to Toronto where she began her Vet Tech career at Toronto Humane Society as a summer kitten feeder.

After that first summer at Toronto Humane Society, Lindsay never left. She has been at Toronto Humane Society for almost 10 years working as a Registered Veterinary Technician, and now as the Assistant Manager, Community Sheltering and Animal Transport. Over the years Lindsay has developed great bonds between fellow coworkers, our amazing volunteers and foster parents, and the many, many animals that have passed through our front doors.
