This course is designed to share the updated Adult Feline Anorexia guidelines. These should be seen as guidelines rather than strict protocols - deviation from the guidelines is fine and may be appropriate depending on the individual case and situation.

The goals with the revisions of this protocol is to:
1. Reduce workload for medical care staff
2. Avoid unnecessary medical intervention for brief episodes of anorexia, often due to FAS associated with shelter housing, in otherwise healthy animals
3. Keep animals moving towards their adoptive home unless they truly need to be held back for medical care
